When we had the opportunity to do an iTunes exclusive, we joked it would be fun to make the entire process all analog straight to MP3 - So we did a lot of this on the A820 at Revolution in East Toronto.

 

A lot of 'exclusive' sessions can be real throw away re-recordings of old songs, but this was mostly all stuff Afie hadn't previously recorded or released and didn't feel right on an album. The mixes are really aggressve ala Beatles mixes... I really like the weirdness of the hard-panning and mono mixtures. I even hard-panned the lead vocal on "Sobering Love".
